Today we are launching our official IGGPPC 30 Day photo challenge! We have tried to choose a mix of geeky and more standard topics for each day! We’ve created a page on the website for image submissions but you can also join in by posting to twitter or instagram using the tag #IGGPPC30D!
Happy Snapping!

Here at IGGPPC HQ we love art and we consider ourselves to be creative, crafty types. We also know that a lot of our new friends (that’s you!) are arty, designy and imaginative sorts too, so with that in mind we bring to you: The Artsy Fartsy Project!
Every four weeks we will pick a theme (for example: Science, Fandoms, Colours, Fantasy, Gaming, Food etc) and then any of our members can submit art based on that theme. The art could be digital, written, traditional, crafty, photographic, abstract, typographical or any number of other mediums you can shake a stick at. You can submit pieces individually or work together in pairs or groups for a collaborative effort. There is no real end goal other than art for arts sake, having fun, sharing ideas and getting creative…but if it turns out to be a success we will look at making the best entries over the year into a book for members to purchase.
We really hope you have fun with this project and we’re really looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with and where the project takes us!
This Months Theme:
SCIENCE!
23rd April - 20th May
We’ve chosen this theme as our first theme to commemorate House GlaDOS winning the first house competition and because well, science is freaking awesome!

When I worked as a fashion designer, the building the company had offices in has A LOT of jumping spiders. One of them, I named him Slick, used to come and visit me every day. He would appear at my in-tray around mid-morning , then scurry round my desk a bit and finally he would climb the side of my monitor and sit on top of it staring at me for about an hour. Then he would bugger off and not come back until the next day.
I miss that lil guy.
